In case you change it up past about 10% it presents way even more than you absolutely need, and small rubber feet at the base belonging to the legs rip quickly in case you make an attempt to slide it relating to the carpet. Besides that, promoted compliments the 16 speaker array on our Mitsubishi TV very well. It’s the best without having wires in your room.

I needed an invisible sub to suit a 32″ Sony XBR LCD TV which includes 5.1 surround bar and a smallish built-in subwoofer in the dust within the LCD panel. Since this TV is due to a bedroom I don’t have sufficient space to add new external speakers or other audio components, in the future I paid reasonably limited to have the built-in 5.1.

After i saw this wireless sub at $208 on Amazon, that it was really worth trying outside ordered it and received it in under a week. Involved 5 mins to cigarette lighter in and VOW, what a change it made! The wireless transmitter has Audio-L & R ports which have been coupled to the Audio outside of my TV. It even offers a LFE input to touch base on to the sub woofer output on the amp. I’m mesmerised by the caliber of this supplement and the old days of use. Now I’m accustomed to the current thing when I power it down, the built-in 5.1 TV speakers that utilized sound okay, seem like tin-can speakers. I’m sure extremely satisfied with this supplement (at this price point) and am pondering over adding just one more to suit two 8″ ceiling speakers in our kids room. I suggest it to anyone who would like to bring that extra touch of bass to a pre-existing TV or iPod dock or any speakers that lack the bass. Hopefully the $208 price stays precisely the same for a few years and even drops further.

Bought this wireless sub to pair by having a Polk Surroundbar 50 and love the way it turned out. Surprisingly good bass from an 8″ driver, and therefore the wireless transmitter works perfectly though a thick wall and across a room. Excellent choice for a flat or smallish room.

I’m a budget-conscious audiophile and i also became a bit hesitant generally wireless concept. I became of the perception that Appraisal lose some sound depth…but wow was I ever mistaken. I’ve owned Polks for many years now and have invariably been thankful for in overall quality of their total products. I have also been hesitant about your “Manufactured in China” side within the equation…but apparently Polk engineers will almost allways be on-page in China make sure that of their speakers meet Polk’s quality requirements. If any one of that you’re hesitating…don’t! This sub does just what exactly a sub must do…in it properly complements the sound emanating from a great pair main speakers.

    Basically…very pleased!

I needed an invisible sub because my components (receiver, dvr, and dvd player) are held in a media closet off my living room. Running wires will have been painful. This is an amazing strategy to complete my home theater.

I purchased this sub this morning to use in my Polk RM85 setup. The setup can’t be easier! Just enter the subwoofer cable and choose a channel, so easy. The sub is kind of small, but it really packs a surprisingly big punch. Easily hits harder versus the sub it replaced (which was rated as a lot more than 2x as numerous watts and was two times as big.

The sound made by this compact subwoofer fills my average size den and i believe the sound is great. Attributable to marital comprimize one acceptable position for my subwoofer is on the area behind a lounge chair and still it sounds good.

I am impressed I changed out the leading center, left & right speakers for Polk units also. This lot when paired with my in-ceiling Polk surround all over the place deliver the most suitable surround sound I’ve ever had. I used to be always skeptical when I just read to be best if lots of the satalite units are from a similar manufacturer but I’m a believer now.

The subwoofer is a rewarding unit that feels solid and quality when held. I for example the auto on/off feature allowing you the device to remain alone as rrt’s going to automatically start up when a sign is detected after which it off any sort of accident no signal. There’s a simple red off light and an environmentally friendly on light.

Right as they are I used to be disapointed with a budget appear and feel from the transmitter but this is actually easy as it really works fine and may also be put out from sight that could be just as well as unit has an amazingly bright blue light in it that could be a disstration if in the queue of sight if you watch tv/video.

I feet of this nature unit covered for itself since with it been wireless Some should pay for a truly long subwoofer cable and Used to do not need to learn how to invisably route the cable.

Arrange these wireless subwoofer can be described as breeze. I still find it safer to developed than only a wired subwoofer that could be not thay hard also.

I’m proud of this subwoofer and Seen you’re too.

01/12/10 Update. This last weekend the sub was making sound despite the fact that my audio equipent was off. The speaker was gaining a ghost signal on the transmitter I think. Solved the drawback by disconecting the energy cable to to transmitter and reconecting it moments later. I will se in such a circumstance again. It’s still an awsome sub.

I obtained this the other day for $185.22, and it was eventually worth every penny. I saw it my home prewired 10 in years past, but tend to never get my old subwoofer for work, having tried a brand new fuse, restripping the wires, etc., and i also refused to employ a wired product, because I never was sure the the wire to your subwoofer worked.

I were built with a misadventure which includes a Boston Acoustics TVee Powered Soundbar Speakers with Wireless Subwoofer for $250, that is certainly home entertainment some people will don’t know anything about home theater. That led to a really expensive purchase, and this didn’t let me use my four other channels. I been for a while sending that a person back. Don’t purchase if you desire true home theater.

Buy this supplement! I tried on the extender on Saturday with my hodgepodge of el cheapo back speakers, Boston Acoustics bookshelf speakerd for the top right and left, and an el cheapo center channel, and my tv room shook with each explosion, and i also felt the movie through our sofa on Monsters vs. Aliens which has a Toshiba HD-2 upscaling to HD. I often’t wait to work out another action moview to be controlled by the sound. It was very successful as is also, no wires, merely takes a simple tiny transmitter.

I’m now thinking about upgrading one other five speakers and my old Sony 5.1 Dolby DTS receiver.

Especially if they: It’s wireless so its possible to input it anywhere that is definitely about an electrical outlet.

Unhealthy: The bass is muddy, the volume/power is weak, discover a lucid delay (and my sub is not to near from A/V receiver).

I was expecting an easier product for those price. In a unique room, Apple wired Yamaha subwoofer (#sw315) we got available for sale at about a similar price because this Polk wireless. There’s no comparison. The yamaha sounds fantastic and will shake the area at 1/4 or 1/3 volume. This wireless Polk seems like a passive subwoofer.

Note: You won’t need to to wire the pswi225. (I could possibly have preferred that there be a way to wire it down if/when space or room configuration changes to let a wired configuration — but no.)

    I can’t recommend this product.

Note: I purchased this used exploiting like new condition from amazon.

I spend considerable time reading reviews before I purchase anything on Amazon, but I actually rarely wrote one before. I cannot resist scripting this one.

I became actually just a little hesitant buying this wireless subwoofer. I must own up, I believed a wireless subwoofer must have been a joke, and it wouldn’t be wise compared with a wired one. This subwoofer may be a KILLER. It really is sooo effortless set up. Bye bye wires!!

That of a performance! Don’t hesitate.

This sub is tremendous and ideal running wireless. I got a little bit interested in the various “bad” reviews to fix it “popping” although it was off but I purchased it anyway. Sub is small enough to anywhere if you don’t take up much space but thumps out big sound. There are “popped” once while attempting to locate an indication after the movie nevertheless a little “thud” like someone closed a motorcar door outside and never a loud boom. I simply turned rid of it for the night time and still have not had a difficulty since. Not a problem to me. The sound at the start was a little bit dull and lifeless and that i was worried but following times of utilizing it it came to our life and sounds great!! After being broken in I go set at about 50 % volume and hits plenty hard. As long as the bright blue light within the transmitter… yes it’s bright weeks on, but I go behind my blue ray player in doing my AV stand and yes it cant even be seen. It could also easily be included in a little section of electrical tape. The main thing, its a very good sub.

I’ll offer the idea that perhaps Managed to get a lemon, but mine would cut out and in during tv/surround and create a subtle popping noise. Was setup only 18 feet with the receiver/transmitter. Also sounded very week and nondescript with music–brought not even attempt to the experience. Decided that wired was best so returned it and purchased a Definitive Technology ProSub 800. Better in all of the ways. When you attempt a cable and were believing that it might just be cleaner to get wireless, complications the actual of coming back and go wired–if you care at by pointing out low end which can be!

I’ve had this week. I’m not delighted.

I has not been expecting this to equal the sub May very well within our cabling do you room, but I believe it is boomy–lots of mid-bass, little down really low. Assuming you have smaller front speakers, it may be the best match, but even my Boston Acoustics 4.5″ woofers go lower low enough that the doesn’t make a good deal of difference.

Also (it’s really not a criticism, but a design observation) a continuing isn’t really convenient from a 2.1 configuration. Many receivers don’t create a volume-controlled line-level output made for this and not using a center channel drank also. If you like this with the idea of converting 2.0 to 2.1 sound, first investigate whether your AVR or TV will create a line (i.e., low) -level signal this really is controlled by the quantity control. Our AVR defeats the LFE output unless the audio is about towards a surround mode, which assumes a center channel speaker is into position (meaning no dialogue is heard and not using a center channel speaker). possible low-level outputs through the AVR along with TV commonly are not volume-controlled.

PRO: The wireless feature works perfectly within our room. The sub itself speaks enough.

CON: Boomy mid-bass, limited bass extension. No speaker-level inputs. BRIGHT blue light to the transmitter can be on (i.e., provided the power for that transmitter is plugged in)
